We survived #snowoutatlanta2014. It has been quite a week. I was not caught in the mess that was Atlanta this week. I live about 45 minutes away, however some of our friends had to spend 18 to 20 hours in their cars trying to get home. I don't want to talk about what went wrong but what went right. Alot of amazing things happened that day starting with all the good Samaritans that made their way to the people stranded in their cars giving them food and water. Grocery stores and restaurants offering shelter to the people stranded. The baby that was born on the side of the road (what a miracle). The father that walked six miles to be with his daughter that was stranded at school. There are so many other stories of people going above and beyond helping others. With all this said the grand kids had a great time playing in the snow. Here are some pictures.
I am also sharing a little word art I made. Yes it is for the snow WA. Hope you enjoy. Happy Scrapping. Just a note. I usually post new word art on Saturday's (really the only time I have to work on it). So please check back then for new post. Thanks so much for visiting.

I have a PRAISE report today. A young man that my children went to school with became very ill. He is in his early 30's. He was fine one day and the next day he is in ICU fighting for his life. He contracted an infection and it spread like wild fire through out his body shutting down his vital organs. The family and friends were planning their last goodbye's. The news spread throughout social media sites and prayers started going up for this young man (all around the world) and a miracle started to happen, he was getting better day by day. Seth is not out of the woods and still needs lots of prayers for him and is family. He is truly a miracle in the making. I look forward to seeing the daily updates that his family post. I know I serve an awesome God and miracles do happen you just have to have FAITH. Thank you God for your many blessing in my life. ~Amen~

I thought I would scrap a picture that was taken New Years of me and my husband. He is a musician and plays in a country band (hence the cowboy hat LOL). The funny thing is he hadn't worn a hat in 30 years (Kodak moment). He saw this one and decided to buy it. I personally prefer him without the hat but I did love the picture.
